Training: God-Sized Dreams

Barry Young —  March 1, 2013

Ephesians 3:20

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us

Do you have a God-sized dream for your life?

Believing God to loose 3 lbs, get a $1 dollar raise, or just to survive in life is not a God-sized dream. God-sized dreams are dreams that are bigger than you. Just think of it; this could be the year you get that degree, start that business, get totally in shape, or you name it.

Friend don’t let the devil trick you into settling for a small dream. Ask God for a God-sized dream and then don’t let go of it.

Be blessed!

  1. A God sized dream. It’s funny my wife has lost a lot of weight since our daughters were born and she wants to get in shape even more (although she looks great now!). But it’s hard and she’s not sure she can ever look like one of “those” girls who are all super fit and stuff. BUt acutally, that’s a God sized dream, and there’s no reason that she can’t! She can look like one of “those” girls if she wants. She definitely can. And I can definitely own my own business like I want! Just need a little planning and a lotta heart, right?

    • You are right, TB.

I don’t believe God only works in certain categories. God wants us to experience success in all the areas of our lives. Philippians 4:13 tells us we can do anything. We just have to be sure that what we want to do is not contrary to God’s word which is the ultimate authority.
